Book Club is sponsored by The Church at Covenant Park, near the Soccer Association of Columbia (SAC) fields. We join together as those who like to read or would like to read more and be able to discuss with others. Membership is not limited to Church members and all are welcome.
The way this started I thought it would be more about politics, but a powerful message nonetheless. I thought I should share it.

Having lead a few Kirkin'O' the Tartans Ceremonies I like his content in relation to the background of the underground Kirkin in Scotland in 1745. Wearing of the Tartan was outlawed but the Scots found a way to have their tartan blessed. The ceremony is about dedication of self to God and steadfast faith. Interesting isde note, one of the biggest Kirkin's takes place at First Presbyterian Church in Salt Lake City,
I must admit I know nothing of the Kirkin o the Tartan even though as I research my lineage, I find their are Scots in my past. I did find this on the internet though...
